About
Our primary goal is to educate children about the history of modern rocketry, the U.S. Space Program, past, current & future, and perform experiments illustrating rocketry concepts. However, most importantly we provide a link for students as to the importance of STEM subjects in school and how they can relate to their long-term education and ultimate success. Students will also participate in building and painting their own rockets and are provided the opportunity to “push the button” and watch their creations soar.

Cape Colorado is more of an idea than a place to simply launch rockets. It’s a concept where the next generation can get excited about what can be, and to learn through hands on activities & experiences. It’s about teaching and inspiring the kids of today, and that they can accomplish great things to become the success stories of tomorrow.
