The Future

The future of Cape Colorado is bright as we look forward to refining our existing program and tailor it to fit the needs of our clients.  Other items in program development also include tools with which to keep students engaged over the course of the year through science news blog posts, establishment of local rocket clubs and Cape Colorado sponsored build and launch days.   

Local and state Outreach  – We will continue to look for opportunities to support local youth organizations and schools.   Our offerings will also include incorporation into municipal recreation district summer programs and other summer camps.   

Look for us as well at the 2024 CASB (Colorado Association of School Boards) conference in December as we extend our outreach directly to educators and administrators of school districts from around the state. 

Our long-term plan is to include field trips to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena California, the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville Alabama, the Kennedy Space Center and other destinations.
